Our Model & Why It Matters for Returns
Luma Home Goods operates a curated dropshipping model. Each product ships directly from our verified global suppliers to your door. This means we do not hold physical inventory, and returns are handled on a case-by-case basis in coordination with our suppliers.
We stand fully behind every product we sell. If something goes wrong, we make it right — no runaround.
What We Cover (30 Days)
Within 30 days of confirmed delivery, we will issue a full refund or replacement at no cost to you for:
- Items that arrive visibly damaged or broken
- Items that are materially different from the product listing
- Items that are missing components described in the listing
- Orders that never arrive (confirmed lost after carrier investigation)
What We Do Not Cover
- Change-of-mind returns on items that match the listing description
- Damage caused after delivery (drops, misuse, incorrect installation)
- Items reported more than 30 days after confirmed delivery
- Minor color or size variations within the tolerance described on the product page
How to Request a Refund
- Email support@lumahomegoods.com with your order number and a brief description of the issue
- Attach 1–3 photos clearly showing the problem (required for damage claims)
- We respond within 24 business hours with next steps
- Approved refunds are returned to your original Stripe payment method within 5–10 business days
Shipping Costs
Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is the direct result of our error (wrong item sent, item damaged before shipping). We do not charge return shipping fees for covered claims.
International Orders
Because our products ship internationally, return shipping of physical items back to the supplier is often impractical. For covered claims, we prefer to resolve issues through a replacement shipment or full refund rather than a physical return. We will never ask you to ship an item back at your own expense.
